Product Description

DIPOXY WEP Primer X - low-viscosity 2K epoxy primer

DIPOXY WEP Primer X is a solvent-free, matt, low-viscosity epoxy primer. It penetrates deeply into wood, concrete, screed, worktops, plastered walls and mineral substrates, and is suitable as a first coat or adhesion primer for light to medium-duty loads.

For heavily stressed, damp or high-shear surfaces, DIPOXY Primer S is recommended. WEP Primer X is especially practical indoors thanks to its low odour.

Mixing ratio 5:1 by weight
Apply thinly with roller or brush
Tools can be washed with water immediately after use
Suitable for wood, concrete, screed, worktops and art substrates
Available in black and white

Coverage and recoating

As a rough rule, 1 kg covers approx. 3-4 m² and is enough for about 3 coats of 0.2 to 0.3 mm. We recommend applying no more than one thin coat of WEP Primer X. Use Primer S for thicker layers.

Working time and curing

10 °C: approx. 4-6 h working time
20 °C: approx. 3-4 h working time
30 °C: approx. 2-3 h working time
Final strength after approx. 2-4 days

Store for approx. 1 year at 10-25 °C, dry and protected from sunlight. Contains epoxy compounds. Wear suitable protection and avoid release to the environment.
