Crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, 2-component epoxy resin
- DIPOXY-2K-700 -

DIPOXY-2K-700 is a crystal-clear, low-viscosity epoxy resin (2 components) and is manufactured and sold by us exclusively in "premium quality"!
DIPOXY-2K-700 epoxy resin is ideal for almost any application! For example: jewelry making, table manufacturing, so-called "river tables", floors, pond, aquarium and terrarium construction, as well as boat, ship and aircraft construction. Molded parts can also be cast in silicone molds, and carbon, aramid and fiberglass laminations are also possible. Also perfectly suitable for model making!

Simply select the desired amount of epoxy resin and add it to the shopping cart. Then select the color pigments and add them to the shopping cart as well.

The best results are achieved with our effect pigments developed for epoxy resins!
We have the right style and the right colors for every application.
Whether as powder or liquid, fine or coarse, clear, cloudy or milky, subtle as pearl, metallic or with a glitter effect.
Here in our shop, everyone will find something to suit their individual taste!

Solvent-free DIPOXY-2K-700 is mixed at a ratio of 2:1 (e.g., 100 g A and 50 g B) by mass (by weight) and is therefore easy to process. Ideally, components A and B are mixed at a temperature of 10°C - 30°C.
Although DIOPXY-2K-700 is generally self-degassing, for best results you should still ensure that you stir at approx. 250-350 rpm for about 4-5 minutes until both components are well mixed, and that the low speed does not incorporate too much air into the epoxy resin mixture!

! Warning: Risk of overheating !
As soon as both components are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs which releases heat. Depending on how high the mixture is in a cup or bucket, the heat may not be able to dissipate quickly enough through the surface. Therefore, the rule always applies: "better wide and flat than tall and narrow!" For example, if a 300 ml mixture stands still in a cup at a height of about 15 cm, it will presumably (depending on the outside temperature) become so hot after 15-25 minutes that you could burn yourself, and then it will cure immediately! However, if you pour the same mixture into a bucket so that it is only 1 cm high, it will not get hot and you can probably still work with it well after 60 minutes!

Depending on how thin or thick the Dipoxy-2K-700 epoxy resin mixture is to be applied, you will need different amounts of colorant.
You achieve the highest opacity with our liquid color concentrates, which have no effect pigments. They are also the most cost-effective alternative for coloring epoxy resin and other materials.
When coloring an epoxy primer, it usually makes no sense to use an epoxy effect pigment, since you will not see this layer later anyway.
As a rule, the proportion of epoxy resin color pigments in a primer is chosen very high because this layer is very thin and you want to achieve maximum opacity. Except, for example, for exposed concrete or wooden floors, where pigments are generally not added to the epoxy resin.
For the middle epoxy resin layer, it depends on which effects you want to achieve, whether there should be a color gradient, and whether you want to see the layer underneath (if there are multiple intermediate layers) or not.

Depending on what you want to do, the following information from our tests may help you. Of course, you can also use more material!
