DIPOXY-2K-700PRO was specially developed for thick-layer applications up to 10 cm. For example, you can
produce a “river table” easily in a single pour! The curing time is significantly longer than with
our DIPOXY-2K-700, because we had to greatly reduce the chemothermal reaction in order to achieve this
layer thickness! How high you can actually pour always depends on the
ambient temperature and on how wide and long the pour is! For example: 4.5 cm high, 4–18 cm wide and
200 cm long at a temperature of 14°C turned out very nicely in our test! (See image)
 
DIPOXY-2K-700PRO is a crystal-clear, low-viscosity epoxy resin and is manufactured and distributed by us exclusively in “premium quality”!
DIPOXY is ideally suited for almost any application! For example: jewelry, table making, so-called “river tables”, floors, pond/aquarium/terrarium construction, as well as boat, ship and aircraft construction. Molded parts can also be cast, for example in silicone molds, and carbon, aramid and fiberglass composites are also possible. Also perfectly suitable for model making! The best results are achieved with our effect pearl color pigments developed for epoxy resins!

The solvent-free DIPOXY-2K-700PRO is mixed at a ratio of 100:32 (e.g. 100 g A and 32 g B) in mass units (by weight), making it easy to process. Ideally, components A and B are mixed at a temperature of 10°C to 25°C. It is generally self-degassing, however, for best results, you should still ensure stirring at approx. 250–350 rpm for about 4–5 minutes until both components are well mixed and, at the low speed, not too much air is incorporated into the epoxy resin mixture!
! Warning: risk of overheating !
As soon as both components are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs that releases heat. Depending on how high the mixture is in a cup or bucket, the heat cannot be dissipated through the surface quickly enough. Therefore, the rule always applies: “better wide and flat than tall and narrow!” Depending on what you want to do, the information below from our tests may help you. Of course, you can also use more material!

1 kg = 1 mm thickness per 1 m² (1 m x 1 m)

Primer (usually transparent)
0.2–0.4 kg per m² (0.2–0.4 mm per m²)
Color effect layer (middle layer)
10–11 kg per m² (approx. 1 cm per m²)
Sealing (final coat not necessarily required)
1–2 kg per m² (1–2 mm per m²)
Consumption of effect pearl pigment for casting projects (river table):
Depending on how transparent everything should be, you will need between 0.5 g and 15 g of pigments (by weight) per kg of epoxy mixture.
Working time / flow time (pot life)
at 10°C approx. 360–600 min.
at 20°C approx. 240–480 min.
at 30°C approx. 120–360 min.
above 30°C is possible, but without time specifications!
Final strength:
at 10°C: at least 7 days before walking on it and 4 weeks before heavy loads.
at 20°C: at least 5 days before walking on it and 3 weeks before heavy loads.
at 30°C: at least 3–4 days before walking on it and 1–2 weeks before heavy loads.
Storage:
1 year / Optimal at 10–25°C, dry and protected from direct sunlight!
