DIPOXY-2K-700Floor is a clear, low-viscosity epoxy resin (2 components) and is manufactured and distributed by us exclusively in “premium quality”!
DIPOXY-2K-700Floor epoxy resin is ideal for floor coatings and floor sealers, e.g.: factory floors, warehouse floors, parking garages, workshops, residential buildings, kitchen floors, bathroom floors, garage floors, sports halls, etc.
The quantity offered here is intended as a 2-component coating of approx. 0.2 mm, ideally applied with a roller. You can apply DIPOXY-2K-700Floor from approx. 0.2 mm up to a maximum of 10 mm in one coat. Further down you will find an example at 0.5 mm including primer, as well as a floor with 2–3 mm of epoxy resin. Depending on how level you want your floor to be, calculate approx.:
1 mm on 1 m² requires approx. 1 kg of epoxy resin.
The working time always depends on the ambient temperature. However, assume that you will not have more than 60 minutes. If you need more time, we recommend using DIPOXY-2K-700PRO. It does cost more, but on average you have 3 to 6 times more working time during application!
Solvent-free DIPOXY-2K-700Floor is mixed in a 2:1 ratio (e.g. 100 g A and 50 g B) in mass units (by weight) and is therefore easy to process. Ideally, components A and B are mixed at a temperature of 10°C to 25°C. DIPOXY-2K-700Floor is generally self-degassing; however, for best results, make sure to stir at approx. 250–350 rpm for approx. 4–5 minutes until both components are thoroughly mixed, and to avoid incorporating too much air into the epoxy resin mixture at the low speed!

Simply select the desired amount of epoxy resin and add it to the cart.
Then select the color pigments and add them to the cart as well.

The best results are achieved with our effect pearl color pigments developed specifically for epoxy resins!
We have the right style and matching colors for every application.
RAL colors are also possible (on request)

! Caution: risk of overheating !
As soon as both components are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs that releases heat. Depending on how high the mixture stands in a cup or bucket, the heat cannot be dissipated quickly enough through the surface. The rule therefore always applies: “better wide and flat than tall and narrow!” If, for example, a 300 ml mixture stands still in a cup at a height of approx. 15 cm, it will probably (depending on the outside temperature) become so hot after 15–25 minutes that you could burn yourself, and then it will cure immediately!
If, however, you pour the same mixture into a bucket and it is only 1 cm high, it will not heat up and you will probably still be able to work with it well for 60 minutes!
You can also pour the ready-mixed material directly onto the floor (do not leave it in the bucket) so that the working time remains open for as long as possible (on non-absorbent floors)! The material can be spread easily with a floor squeegee or a roller with a telescopic handle!
If you need more time (3 to 5 times longer), we recommend using DIPOXY-2K-700PRO!

Layer thickness approx. 2–3 mm

Layer thickness approx. 0.5 mm (including primer)

Depending on what you want to do, the information below from our tests may help you. Of course, you can also use more material!

The rough rule of thumb for consumption is:
1 kg = 1 mm thickness per 1 m² (1 m x 1 m)
Consumption amounts of DIPOXY-2K-700Floor for floor coating (private and commercial):
Primer (usually black, white, or transparent)
0.4 – 0.6 kg per m² (0.4 – 0.6 mm per m²)
Color effect layer (intermediate layer)
1 – 3 kg per m² (1 – 3 mm per m²)
Sealing (top coat not always required)
1 – 2 kg per m² (1 – 2 mm per m²)
Consumption of effect pearl pigment for floor coating (private and commercial):
Depending on how thin the application should be, you will need between 5 g and 25 g of pigments per kg of epoxy mass.

DIPOXY-2K-700Floor is ideal for sealing parquet floors and floorboards, and even on laminate it gives a completely new look!
