Many customers often ask us why the pigment powder shown above looks so coarse.
The pigments are very fine; the image has simply been greatly enlarged!
All pigments can theoretically also be used for make-up as they are only a few µm (1000 µm = 1 mm) in size.
Scope of delivery:
Depending on your selection, between 5g, 25g, 100g, 500g and 1000g of effect pearl Pigments
Our pigments are generally suitable for the following additional applications:
- Car paints (5-20g per kg)
- Spray films/liquid rubber (5-20g per kg)
- Nail polish (2–4 g per 100 g)
- Silicone and latex (5–25 g per kg)
- Powder coating (no quantity specified)
- Epoxy resin (see below)
Our pigments can also be added to wall paints and glazes.

Consumption quantities of Effect Pearl Pigment for floor coating (private and commercial):
Depending on how thinly you want to apply it, you will need between 5g and 25g of pigment per kg of epoxy compound.
Consumption quantities of Effect Pearl Pigment for casting projects (river table):
Depending on how transparent you want the result to be, you will need between 0.5 g and 15 g of pigment per kg of epoxy resin.
Storage:
Optimal at 10-15°C, dry and protected from direct sunlight!
